Being head of the department, I welcome you all to the summer school on Data Science. This course will help you to explore your programming as well as analytical skills. This course is designed for newcomers to get a touch of data analytics using Python and R language. This course will utilize more of a practical approach rather than going in a theoretical way. The focus will be on data analysis through statistical methods. Representing data, summarizing the data, visualization techniques will also be a part of this course.
